Denmark is a Scandinavian country in Northern Europe along with Greenland and the Faroe Islands. The mainland of this country is bordered to the South by Germany. It is located at southwest of Sweden and south of Norway. Its borders both the Baltic and the North Sea. Denes are a very peaceful nation and international studies showed that they the happiest nation of the world. At present, Denmark has designed number of schemes with the intention of making it easier for highly qualified professionals from all over the world to get a residence and work permit. These schemes include The Positive List, The Pay Limit scheme, The Corporate scheme and The Greencard scheme. Among all these schemes, the Greencard Scheme is the most significant for those people who want to immigrate. The GreenCard Scheme There are three conditions of Danish Greencard Scheme: 1. So as to be granted a residence permit under the Greencard scheme, you must attain at least 100 points. Points will be awarded for: - Educational level 2. You must have a complete health insurance covering you and any other family members accompanying y you until you are covered by the Danish national health insurance. 3. You must be able to maintain yourself during your first year in Denmark.
